(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - "Islamic Republic of Iran is even ready to export its 20-percent enriched nuclear fuel to those countries which require such fuel," Abbasi told reporters.
He pointed out that IR Iran us a country that has access to technology of production of 20-percent nuclear fuel and it has also the capability of exporting this valuable commodity and it is quite logical that other countries to purchase such commodity from Iran under the control of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) by signing contracts with Iran.
"It was a time that we had to buy the 20-percent nuclear fuel from abroad due to the fact that design and setting up a factory to produce such fuel was not cost-effective in economic terms," Abbasi added.
He pointed out that because of sanctions imposed on Iran and creating obstacles by certain countries to prevent Iran from producing 20-percent nuclear fuel, the Islamic Republic of Iran attempted to invest, design and set up factory for producing this kind of fuel.
